Alpha reading is different from beta reading in ways that are difficult to describe and easy to feel. An alpha reader receives a manuscript that is still rough — sometimes structurally incomplete, sometimes uncertain of itself — and responds to it not as a finished work but as a living document. The relationship between an author and an alpha reader is personal, close, and built on a particular kind of trust.

For this reason, alpha reading for Zara Azimuth is not an open application process. Alpha readers are identified personally and invited directly. If you have received an invitation code, you may complete the form below. If you have not, the beta reader and ARC programs are the right entry points.
